The short version
Core Breaker has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of its own. Your progress stays on your device. Data leaves your device for three reasons: our advertising partner needs some to show you the optional videos that keep the game free (you decide whether those ads are personalized), play data with a random identifier, never your name, helps us improve the game (you can switch it off), and crash reports help us fix bugs.
What the game stores on your device
| Data | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your game progress (ORE, upgrades, records, discoveries, settings, your privacy choices) | A file in the app's own folder on your device | So the game remembers where you are |
| A diagnostics log of your runs (depth reached, heat, how a run ended; no identifiers) | The same folder on your device | To help us find and fix bugs if you report one |
Neither file is sent anywhere by the game. If you use iCloud Backup or back up your device to a computer, iOS may include the app's folder in that backup, under Apple's terms. Deleting the app deletes both files.
Advertising
Core Breaker shows optional video ads (MULTIPLY after a run, UPGRADE + VIDEO in the garage, free gems in the gem shop) and, rarely, a short ad between runs. Ads are delivered by Unity LevelPlay, an advertising mediation service operated by Unity Technologies (ironSource Ltd.), and the ad networks it works with, starting with Unity Ads.
To deliver and measure ads, these partners receive information from your device when an ad is requested or shown:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking in Apple's prompt and choose personalized ads in the game; otherwise a non-persistent identifier is used.
- Device information: model, operating system version, language, screen size, network type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Ad interaction data: which ads were requested, shown, watched, skipped or tapped.
- Diagnostics about the ad software itself (crash and performance data).
Our partners use this data to serve ads, to measure them, to prevent fraud, and, if you allow personalized ads, to choose ads that fit you. Their own policies explain how they handle it: Unity Privacy Policy and Unity Player Privacy Policy, which cover LevelPlay (ironSource) and Unity Ads.
Your choices. When the first video could be offered: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks whether ads may be personalized and play data sent (through Google's consent tool, or the game's own card), and Apple's tracking prompt follows only if you agree; elsewhere Apple's tracking prompt asks. Saying no gives you the same videos, just not personalized. You can change your choices at any time:
- In the game: Settings > PRIVACY & ADS (Personalized ads on or off; "Do not sell or share my personal information"; Play data on or off).
- On your device: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
Play data and crash reports
While Play data is on, the game sends play data to Unity Analytics (Unity Technologies), which processes it for us: how deep your runs go and how they end, which video offers you take, what each ad earned, and what you buy in the game, with a random identifier for your device, its model and system version, and your approximate location from your IP address. We use it to balance the game and its ads, never to identify you or to target ads at you. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland play data stays off until you agree; elsewhere it is on until you switch it off in Settings > PRIVACY & ADS.
If the game crashes, Unity Diagnostics sends a crash report (where in the game it happened, your device model and system version) so we can fix it.
Purchases
The game sells NO ADS (once, for good) and packs of gems. Apple handles every payment; the game never sees your payment details. It records on your device what you own, and, while play data is on, what you bought. With NO ADS the game makes no advertising requests from its next start.
Children
Core Breaker is suitable for all ages and is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the age your country sets), and our advertising partner is told the app is not child-directed. If you are a parent and believe your child's data reached an advertising partner, contact us and we will help you have it deleted.
Your rights
Savi Labs itself holds no data that names you: the game stores your progress on your device (deleting the app removes it), and the play data and crash reports sit with Unity on our behalf. Data received by our advertising partner is handled under its policy, and you can withdraw consent, opt out of personalized ads or switch play data off at any time as described above. If you live in a region with specific privacy rights (for example the EU, the UK, California or Brazil), you may also contact us at the address below and we will help you exercise them with our partner.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Changes that affect what the game collects will take effect only with an app update that describes them.
